| FB two-a-days begin Wednesday, August 15, 2012  Porcupine football fans got a very early look at Springtown’s 2012 squads Aug. 11 during the Spectacular Springtown Spirit Day intra-squad clash.
After the band performed and underclassmen scrimmaged, youth football and cheerleaders were introduced as well as dance team members and the varsity volleyball team. Then the varsity football team took to the field, wearing pads for just the second time this young season, PA announcer Bill Reed reminded the thousands in attendance.
Springtown is playing in 3A after years of 4A competition. |
