I am all for individual expression. It is the American way. My dad and I had crew cuts and it was a little unsettling back in the 60s when boys started to grow their hair long. It was different and not something I was accustomed to. With time my acceptance grew. I never wanted a ponytail for myself, but if someone else wanted to do so, more power to them. I accepted the other guy’s right to express himself and realized character and appearance are not necessarily the same thing.
Do you recall the days before cell phone service and electronic money? Everyone nowadays has a cell phone that gives them the ability to communicate with others. We have all gotten so accustomed to being able to instantly connect. We forget the time before cellphones and how troubling it could be. The same goes for debit and credit cards. In today’s world, few young people carry cash in any form. They simply carry a “card” and transact their business. Such was not always the case.
I may or may not be suffering from jet lag as I attempt to compose this post. (Actually, there is no doubt whatsoever after a 10-hour transatlantic flight yesterday).
The water is warming up, and water temperatures are in the desired range where the fish are really active. The water temperature is not too cold or too hot and the fish are feeling it. Just like us in the outdoors in comfortable 70-degree weather.
