Gay Lee Dekin, 73, passed away on Jan. 8, 2022, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan.15, 2022 at Azle Christian Church. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at White’s Azle Funeral Home. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dekin was born in Palmer, Alaska on April 2, 1948 to the late William Arthur and Elsie May (Wilson) Casler.

She was a retired Dietary Cook at Harris Methodist Northwest in Azle. She resided in Azle, Texas

She was preceded in death by Mary Ann Casler (sister), Elsie Casler (mother), William Casler (father), Brenda Hill (niece), Brenda Dekin (daughter), Marilyn Hill (sister), Lacey Baslee (granddaughter), and Adam Morelock (grandson).

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Harry G. Dekin; sisters Glee Miller of Dade City, Florida and Joyce Fitzgibbon of Wasilla, Alaska; daughters: Mechelle Baslee, Robin Pedigo; son Burton Dekin; stepchildren Michael Dekin and Michelle Morelock; grandchildren Brittany Snelson, Daniel Morelock, William Dekin, Sierra Baslee, Ashlyn Gonzales, Ty Pierson, Bynum Morelock, Preston Dekin, Allison Williams, Payton Dekin, Colton Dekin, Cheyenne Pedigo, Jaxton Dekin, six great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
