Virgil Sisk

Virgil Sisk passed away Nov. 4, 2020 at home.

Memorial will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Creek Baptist Church.

Virgil was born in Ft. Worth on April 19, 1923 to Maggie (Fitzgerald) Sisk and John Sisk. He was a WWII veteran, and was at Normandy Beach and Battle of the Bulge.

He was a supervisor at General Dynamics for 34 years; and a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. His life was an example of integrity, humility, and work ethics. He was an incredible source of strength to his children and grandchildren. He was a decent man whose word was his bond.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Farris Sisk; and a grandchild, Amy Diane Sisk.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Jo Sisk; three children, Kevin Lynn Sisk and wife Julie, Rodney Lee Sisk and wife Cindy and daughter Lisa Christopher; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
