Update: PCSO spokesperson Danie Huffman reported just before 5:30 p.m that Brunet had been found safely.

Daria Isabelle Brunet, 11, was reported missing to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, and is believed to have run away from home.

She is described as a white, female having long blond hair, brown eyes, 5-foot 2-inches tall, weighing 120-pounds with scars on her upper right arm. 

Burnet was last seen this morning between  7 and 7:30 a.m. walking  on Meadowview Trail, toward Agnes Circle, in Springtown.

PCSO investigation shows deputy injury caused by malfunction of his backup weapon

An “extensive investigation” into the incident in which a Parker County sheriff’s deputy was shot in the foot while responding to a trespassing call revealed the injury was caused by the deputy’s malfunctioning “secured backup weapon,” Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said in a news release.

“This investigation has led us down several avenues,” Fowler said. “This incident was not an accidental discharge. It was a weapons malfunction from a concealed backup weapon which was secured and holstered on his person.”
